Common Threads is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hands-on cooking and nutrition education to children and families in under-resourced communities. Their mission is to empower communities to make nutritious food choices and foster health and wellness through education.

Small Bites:An in- or after-school program for PK-8th grade students, teaching nutrition and healthy cooking through eight lessons with knife-free cooking.

Cooking Skills & World Cuisine:A chef-led program that explores the culture and cuisine of different countries, teaching students to use cooking equipment safely and prepare full recipes.

Cooking Up Health:A course teaching basic culinary skills, nutritious meal creation, and the relationship between food, health, disease, and cultural competencies.

TEACH Portal:An online platform (Teaching Everyone About Cooking & Health) for educators and caregivers, offering webinars, training, and curriculum to promote nutrition and wellness.

Nutrition Forward:A program focused on nutrition education as a cornerstone for healthier communities.
