Énercycle, formerly known as the Régie de gestion des matières résiduelles de la Mauricie, is dedicated to adding value to residual materials in the Mauricie region of Quebec. Since its founding in 1991, the company has been committed to building an integrated waste management system, transforming waste into resources through innovative facilities and practices.

Ecocenters:Facilities for the collection and management of various types of waste and recyclable materials in the Mauricie region.

Recyclable Materials Management:Services for sorting and processing recyclable materials through regional sorting centers.

Compostable Materials Management:Collection and future processing of organic waste to add value through composting.

Septic Tank Sludge Removal:Regional treatment and management of septic tank sludge.

Technical Landfill Sites:Operation of landfill sites with biogas treatment and wastewater management systems in Saint-Étienne-des-Grès and Champlain.

Grasscycling and Leafcycling:Initiatives to promote the recycling of grass clippings and leaves.

Renewable Natural Gas Production:Future project to convert biogas from landfills into renewable natural gas.
