About HBCU Executive Leadership Institute

The HBCU Executive Leadership Institute (HBCU ELI) at Clark Atlanta University aims to prepare future presidents and executive leaders for over 100 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through a performance-based program, it engages aspiring leaders in authentic HBCU contexts, fostering a learning environment to enhance proficiency and develop leadership skills in real-time scenarios. The institute focuses on increasing the competence of prospective HBCU leaders via a curated curriculum, personalized pathways, and ongoing support through a Fellows Alumni Network.
