The HBCU Transformation Project, developed by Black leaders in higher education, aims to propel transformation efforts at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). It seeks to expedite improvements prioritized by each institution, build on nearly 200 years of outsized success despite underinvestment, and enhance student outcomes, local and national economies, and racial justice through systemic improvements and resource-sharing across institutions.
