About Indus Community Services

Indus Community Services is an accredited, not-for-profit community benefit organization that has served local communities for over 40 years. Originally founded as India Rainbow Community Services, it is a registered charity supported by donors and all three levels of government. The organization is a leader in providing culturally appropriate services to newcomers, families, women, and seniors.

Products & Services

Newcomer Services:Provides support and services for newcomers to Canada, including settlement assistance and community integration programs.

Health Services/Senior Care:Offers senior care programs to help seniors stay in their homes longer and reduce pressure on hospitals and long-term care centers.

Family Services:Provides crisis intervention, counseling, mediation, and daily support to youth and adults to prevent violence, abuse, homelessness, and mental health crises.

Community Development:Focuses on building community connections and fostering inclusion.

Housing:Supports individuals and families in securing housing.

Apna Health:A specialized health service program tailored to community needs.

Employment Services:Assists with job search, career mentorship, and employment opportunities through events like job fairs.
