Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) is the official relief society of the U.S. Coast Guard, dedicated to helping its community by preventing short-term financial issues from becoming long-term problems. Fully funded by donations, CGMA provides financial assistance, interest-free loans, grants, counseling, and other support to active duty members, auxiliary members, chaplains, civilian employees, PHS officers, reserve members, retired military personnel, and surviving spouses.
