About Nuclear Scaling Initiative

The Nuclear Scaling Initiative (NSI) is a collaborative effort by Clean Air Task Force, EFI Foundation, and Nuclear Threat Initiative to build a new nuclear energy ecosystem. NSI aims to rapidly and economically scale safe and secure nuclear energy to over 50 gigawatts globally per year by the 2030s, supporting climate goals, economic development, energy access, and peaceful use of nuclear technology.
