SciTech Scity is a collaborative community of entrepreneurs, scientists, students, and tech-forward organizations in Jersey City, New Jersey, working together to create a better future through science and innovation. It is a partnership between the City of Jersey City and Liberty Science Center, aimed at boosting local education and economic growth in STEM sectors.

Products & Services

Liberty Science Center High School:A public magnet STEM academy for grades 9-12 in Hudson County, offering programs in Earth (Sustainable Engineering and Climate Science), Life (Biological Sciences), and Space (Astrophysics), with mentorships and work experiences.

Edge Works:An eight-story business creation hub featuring a 40,000-SF Co-Creation Center (conference center and tech exhibition gallery) and 60,000 SF of R&D labs, workspaces, and co-working areas for startups, early-stage companies, and innovation outposts for established firms.

Scholars Village:Residential housing developed by Alpine Residential for individuals and families wanting to be part of the SciTech Scity community, testing high-tech products in their homes.

Liberty Science Center:The largest interactive science center in the NY/NJ metro area, featuring a leading planetarium and digital theater.

Public Commons:A three-acre outdoor space for community programming, events, and activities like night-sky viewing parties, maker fairs, and hackathons to encourage exploration and collaboration.

Healthcare Innovation Engine:A hub focused on healthcare innovation, partnering with organizations like RWJBarnabas Health to transform cardiac and post-ER care.
