About Seattle Humane

Founded in 1897, Seattle Humane is a resource center promoting the human-animal bond by saving and serving pets in need. Beyond a shelter, it provides adoption services, pet food banks, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, wellness exams, and humane education for all ages, supported by a generous community.

Adoption Services:Facilitates pet adoptions, including finding pets, adoption processes, and support for adopters.

Veterinary Care Center:Offers low-cost veterinary wellness exams and emergency care for pets of income-qualifying families.

Dog Training Center:Provides training classes using positive, dog-friendly methods for dogs and puppies of all ages.

Oogie's Ohana Pet Food Bank:Supports pet owners by providing food and supplies for pets in need.

Pet Rehoming:Assists in finding new homes for pets when owners can no longer care for them.
