About America's Service Commissions

America's Service Commissions (ASC) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that has been a key part of the national and community service ecosystem for over 25 years. ASC represents 52 governor-led state and territorial service commissions and over 1,000 commissioners across the United States, administering more than 80% of AmeriCorps State and National grants and supporting over 40,000 AmeriCorps members. Its mission is to unite states in service, helping governors leverage citizen volunteers to address local needs, strengthen communities, and promote innovative state policies to advance service and volunteerism.

Volunteer Generation Fund (VGF):Initiatives to enhance volunteerism and service at the local level through funding and resources.

Service Job Board:A platform to post and find service-related job opportunities within the ASC network.
