The T1D Fund, launched in 2016, is a venture fund focused on accelerating the development of therapies and potential cures for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) through equity investments in early-stage companies. It partners with Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to advance T1D research and innovation. The fund prioritizes impact over ownership, leverages a network of clinicians and regulators, and recycles investment returns to extend donor contributions.
