Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) is dedicated to promoting the economic, social, and cultural well-being of Inuit through the implementation of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement.

Products & Services

Inuktut Education Innovation Fund:A fund to enhance opportunities for Inuit to advance language and education in Nunavut's system through research, curriculum development, and professional development.

Uqausirngaq Fund:Supports a 10-year action plan for the protection, reclamation, revitalization, and maintenance of Inuktut with Inuit distinctions-based funding.

Uqqujjait Innarnut - Elders Support Program:Provides monthly payments to Nunavut Inuit Elders born between 1949 and 1955 to support their well-being.

Nunavut Tunngavik Foundation:Manages surplus funds from the Residential School Settlement Agreement, offering scholarship and cultural healing programs.

Inuit Firm Registry Database:Maintains and promotes a registry to support Inuit economic rights and business development in Nunavut.

JAK Scholarship:Awards two annual $5,000 scholarships for post-secondary studies in education, Inuit language, or Inuit rights advancement.

Taima TB:Research projects aimed at stopping the transmission of tuberculosis among Inuit.

Nunavut Harvester Support Program:Provides funding assistance to Inuit for harvesting activities to relieve poverty and preserve traditional ways of life.

Enrolment in the Nunavut Agreement:Manages the enrolment process for individuals under the Nunavut Agreement through community committees.
