About Women's Health Clinic (WHC)

Women's Health Clinic is an inclusive, feminist community health clinic based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They provide client-centered support through a variety of health services and education, welcoming people of all genders, including Two-Spirit, genderqueer, trans, non-binary individuals, and cisgender men in some programs.

Products & Services

Midwifery:Offers programs and services for pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting to ensure families feel safe, respected, and supported.

Abortion:Provides aspiration and medication abortions for individuals in and near Manitoba.

Birth Control and Pregnancy Counselling Program:Offers pro-choice, non-judgmental support, information, and referrals through trained volunteer counsellors.

Counselling:Provides counselling for girls, women, Two-Spirit, genderqueer, non-binary, and trans people aged 13 and older, along with information on the Dragonfly Support Program.

Dragonfly Support Program:Supports individuals and families affected by pregnancy loss, infant loss, and babies born to spirit through counselling, peer support, group support, and resources.

Eating Disorders:Offers assessment and treatment for binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, and other types of disordered eating.

Family & Community Programs:Provides free parenting classes and groups for pregnancy through to age 5.

Medical Program:Includes services for reproductive and sexual health, pelvic health, primary care, teen health, consultations, and nutrition, supported by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, dietitians, medical assistants, and volunteers.
